On January 1st I heard the spirit of the Lord say: This is the age of the GLORY carriers who will be elevated & shine their light before men. Who are called to reflect Christ in the midst of darkness.
Then he directed me to Elijah, whose name means Yahweh is my God.
And the spirit of the Lord says the full measure of my power will be on display as the children of God chosen for such a time as this collide with those serving other Gods. Just as Elijah did with the prophets of Baal, signs and wonders will follow my people and many of the kingdom of darkness will come to repentance.
Judgement has begun: those that were once captors are now captives. The Lord will not hear their lament in the time of justice. For many, he will cause renewal and a change of heart and mind by the force of external circumstances.
And the spirit of the Lord says: for you who were born for such a time as this (Esther 4:14) eyes have not seen ears have not heard the things which God prepared for those who love him (1 Corinthians 2:9). You will not be put to shame (Isaiah 54:4-8). Hold no offense against those who’ve wronged you, and remain tender hearted, putting away all haughtiness (James 1:21). It is time to enter the palace.
This January in the calendar month is the month of Tevet in the Hebrew calendar, when Esther was crowned Queen and began to rule and reign.
The spirit of the Lord says: From now on or henceforth my people will be at the top and in positions of prominence, (Deuteronomy 28:13). Prepare to RUN, (Isaiah 40:31). Many are not prepared spiritually or physically with enough stamina for where I desire to take them. Prepare to store oil, bearing good fruits, like the 10 wise virgins so you do not run out like the 10 foolish virgins before the Bridegroom comes (Matthew 25:1-9).
The last story the Lord highlighted to me was the story of Jehoiachin whose name means “May the Lord Establish” or “Yahweh Establishes.” After 40 years of imprisonment when Jehoiachin’s captor died he was released and restored and his garments were changed. He was released on the 12th month on the 25th day of the month. In 2024, Christmas and Hanukkah were both on that calendar day. Hanukkah is also known as the festival of lights and the time of rededication of the Second temple and overthrow of Baal worship (John 10:22) - which lasted eight days. As Hanukkah ends on January 2, 2025 it marks a time of crossing over to occupy the promised land. Just as Jehoachin was restored by his enemies, there’s a grace this month for unusual promotion of the righteous BY their enemies. You will be favored where you were once rejected or constrained.The elevation that will occur for you will be for the purpose of strategic advantage to war against the kingdom of darkness and take territory for the kingdom of God.
Here's a brief prayer you can pray to tap into this word if it resonates with you: Heavenly Father, I thank you Lord for highlighting to me, how I need to prepare to run and take hold of the blessings you have for me in this New Year. Please give me the strength and boldness to step into every position of prominence you have ordained for me. Thank you Father that this year, I shall take hold of the promises that you have spoken over my life, and even be favored, restored, and promoted by my enemies. May every year that the locust has eaten in my life be restored sevenfold according to Proverbs 6:31. In Jesus name, AMEN.
